The digital transition is upon us, and the rapid development of AI technology shows that it is still proceeding at pace. The transition offers countless opportunities, but also presents risks, from the automation of many jobs to the possibility to devise sophisticated disinformation campaigns. 

How to make digital technologies more equitable, diffuse, and “democratic”? How to limit the threats to work and democracy posed by AI, while taking full advantage of its potential?
