Marième Cissé is Head of Research and Projects at West Africa Think Tank (WATHI). She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science with a specialization in Governance and International Cooperation from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. Her interest in human rights, peace and the well-being of the African people on the continent and elsewhere, led her to do an internship at Africans-rising for peace, justice and dignity. She joined the WATHI team in 2018 as a research and project officer mainly on issues related to gender inequalities, education, health and valorization of research in the Sahel.
