As the Mediterranean region is increasingly war-ravaged and fragmented, there is a growing need for tools that can bring people together and promote a culture of dialogue and understanding across the two shores. Public institutions and civil society can play an important role by promoting cooperation and intercultural dialogue, making sure that the Mediterranean can once again act as a place of encounter, a bridge between people and cultures.
How to promote a culture of dialogue between the countries and people on both shores of the Mediterranean? How can public institutions and civil society contribute to this mission? And what role can common heritage and cultural cooperation play in this sense?
