Roberto Tottoli is the Rector of the Università di Napoli “L’Orientale” and a distinguished scholar of Islamic studies. His academic work focuses on the Qur’an, the prophetic tradition, and the transmission of Islamic texts. A professor of Islamic Studies, he has authored and edited numerous publications that have contributed significantly to the field, both in Italy and internationally. As Rector, he leads one of Europe’s oldest institutions dedicated to oriental and global studies, promoting intercultural dialogue and academic excellence.
