Riad Al-Malki is Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates since 2009, and Chairman of the Board of Directors – The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency PICA, since 2016. He served as Minister of Information and as Official Spokesperson of the Government from 2007 to 2009. He was General Director & the founder of Panorama Center for the Dissemination of the Democracy & Community from 1991 to 2007. Previously, between 1981 and 1996, Mr Al-Malki was Civil Engineering Professor at Birzeit University. Head of the Civil Engineering Department and Member of the steering committee of the Orient House, Jerusalem. In 2005, he was awarded with “The Italian Peace Prize”, Lombardia Region, in 2004 with “The Democracy Courage Award” (South Africa), and in 2000 with the “European Peace Prize”.
