Riccardo Pozzi is Head of European and Rest of the World Affairs at ENEL. He graduated in Law, with a specialization in International Law at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, Italy. He was selected by the European Parliament for the Young Leadership Forum of the Eastern Partnership and EU. He has taken part in various political election observations in non-European countries, and in 2014 he was a member of the “Juncker road trip campaign” staff for the Presidency of the European Union. Pozzi worked as an Advisor for the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Senate, mainly taking care of relations with the Euro-Asian area and with the Inter- parliamentary Union (IPU).
In 2018, during the Italian Chairmanship of the OSCE, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed him as Special Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office on Innovation Technology, Youth and Security.
He has also been a Visiting Professor at the School of Governance and Politics of the MoscowState Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University), a Junior Fellow of the Aspen Institute and achieved a diploma in Geopolitics and Global Security at the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). Pozzi worked as Senior Adviser at Grimaldi Alliance and Director of Corporate Affairs & Board Member at UTOPIA – Policy, Advocacy and Communication.
