Riccardo Chartroux joined Rai in 1992 and started working for Tg3 three years later, when the then-director Lucia Annunziata brought him to the news desk, while also serving as correspondent. He later moved to the foreign desk following the Lady Diana tragedy. In 2010 he was promoted to anchor Tg3, taking the place of Bianca Berlinguer who had moved on to direct the news. Since December 2018, he has been Deputy Director of TG3. He has followed with particular attention the issues of globalization, social movements and struggles against war, for economic and environmental justice. World and regional social forums, WTO and FAO summits.
