Rayed Krimly is Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Italy. Krimly began his diplomatic career in 2002, until becoming Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of the Department for Western Countries, after devoting himself to his studies and earning a Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Political Science as well as undertaking academic work in Riyadh.
In 2010, he was Ambassador and Deputy Undersecretary for bilateral relations as well as Director General of the Department for American States. After serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Greece and Bulgaria, Krimly has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy since January. He has also participated and represented the Arab Kingdom in numerous national conferences and events, attending the United Nations, the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), among others.
