Rachid Hachichi is an Algerian business leader. He is the current Chairman and CEO of the Sonatrach group since October 2023. He holds an Engineering Degree from Institut National des Hydrocarbures et de la Chimie INHC Boumerdes.

Hachichi joined SONATRACH in September 1987 and worked as Site Engineer, Department Manager, Division Manager and Regional Production Manager. Since 2014, he held several positions, such as Production Division Manager and Advisor to the CEO before being appointed Chairman and CEO of Sonatrach.
