Mirosław Stanisław Wachowski is currently the Undersecretary for the Relations with States at The Holy See. Wachowski was ordained a priest on June 15, 1996 in Ełk , being incardinated in that Polish diocese. After obtaining a doctorate in Canon Law , he entered the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy . On July 1, 2004, he joined the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He was Secretary of the Apostolic Nunciature in Senegal , member of the Representation of the Holy See before International Organizations in Vienna , Counselor of the Apostolic Nunciature in Poland, and member of the Section for Relations with States in the Secretariat of State (2015-2019 ). On October 24, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Undersecretary of the Section for Relations with the Secretariat of State for Vatican States. He speaks Italian, English, French and Russian.
