Dr. Dassù is the Senior Director of European Affairs at The Aspen Institute and Editor-in-Chief of Aspen Institute Italia’s journal, Aspenia. From 2011 to 2014, she served as Italy’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. She has also worked as the Executive President of Women for Expo and Vice President of The Center for American Studies in Rome, in addition to sitting on the Board of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the European Policy Centre in Brussels. She is a regular contributor to the Italian newspaper La Stampa and is the author of various books and essays.
