Since October last year Mario Corti, 56, has been at the helm of KPMG in Italy, a network of professional firms providing services to support clients, in particular empowering them to face digital and sustainable transformations.

Mario also represents KPMG Italy on the EMA Regional Board (Europe, Africa and the Middle East) and on the Global Board. Since graduating in Business Administration at Bocconi University, Mario has gained all his experience within KPMG and he was nominated Partner in 2000.  Mario’s main areas of expertise include audit services for leading Italian and international financial institutions and also M&A transactions in the financial sector. As the head of Risk Management, he has interfaced with national and international regulators, such as CONSOB (Supervisory authority for the Italian financial products market) and PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board).
