Kristina Kostial is a Deputy Director in the IMF’s Strategy, Policy, and Review Department. She is currently overseeing the work on Fund governance, finance, and strategy, including on quota reform, IMFC relations, G20 work, and the work program. Prior to this position, she led the strategy unit in the department. Throughout her career in the IMF, Kristina has worked in various area and technical departments being involved in policy and operational work, including as a mission chief on Jordan, Lebanon, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Syria. She also worked during 2007-10 as the deputy head of the IMF’s technical assistance office.
