Irene Piki is Deputy Minister to the President of the Republic of Cyprus. She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Reading and an MSc in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics from University College London (UCL).
Since 1997, she has held key roles in the Cypriot public administration, focusing on economic policy, environment, investment, reforms, and European affairs. She has led the Strategy, Coordination and Communication Directorate and the Directorate of Economic Policy and European Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, representing Cyprus in various EU committees. She has also served on the boards of Invest Cyprus (CIPA), the Research and Innovation Foundation, and the Cyprus Organization for Standardization.
