Professor Hassan Al‑Momani is a leading scholar in international relations and conflict resolution, currently serving as Dean of the Prince Al‑Hussein Bin Abdullah II School of Political Science & International Studies at the University of Jordan, and as Director of its Center for Strategic Studies. He earned his BA (1983) and MA (1984) in International Relations from Karachi University, followed by a PhD in International Negotiation from Keele University in 2003, with additional training in conflict resolution from Uppsala University and studies at Keele University. Since joining the University of Jordan, Al‑Momani has held roles including department chair, assistant dean, and vice dean, and has led programs focused on conflict management and academic quality. His expertise spans negotiation theory, peacebuilding initiatives, and strategic diplomacy, and he is a frequent guest lecturer at international institutions, such as Columbia University, where he speaks on negotiation processes between Jordan and Israel.
