Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz  has served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo since 2021. A lifelong activist for democracy in Albania and Kosovo’s independence, she played a key role in mobilizing international support against the Milošević regime and later became spokesperson of the LDK abroad during the 1998–1999 war. Today, she leads the political movement GUXO.
