Di Dongsheng

Professor and Associate Dean of the School of International Studies, Renmin University of China

Dr. Dongsheng is Vice Dean of the School of Global and Area Studies at Renmin University of China. He specializes in World Economy and International Political Economy. Additionally, Dr. Dongsheng serves as a Distinguished Research Fellow at the International Monetary Institute of Renmin University of China, and the Vice Chairman of National Association of Emerging Economy Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Renmin University of China and he worked as a Visiting Scholar at Science Po Paris in France in 2001, and as a Visiting Scholar at Durham University in the UK in 2003. Additionally, Dr. Dongsheng taught as a part-time teacher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Boston University Brussels (BU-Brussels-Campus) during 2005-2006. In 2015, he was invited to Georgetown University as a Visiting Scholar, where he delivered lectures on China’s reform and economy at prestigious institutions including the US Department of State, Wall Street Hedge Fund, University of Chicago, and Chicago Stevenson Center.
