He joined EBRD in 1992 from emerging countries private consulting, and hasuntil 1994 worked as a Senior Banker in South-east Europe, Russia, Caucasus, Turkey and South-east Mediterranean region. In 2004, he became Director for the Western Balkans with supervision over a portfolio of EBRD investments of about EUR 5 billion with new annual commitments of EUR 1 billion.
