Mr. Christopher Cutajar is the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, overseeing the Ministry’s administration, including European Affairs and Trade. A career public servant since 2011, he previously served as Permanent Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects. He sits on the Governing Board of the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law and has played a key role in Malta’s multilateral engagement, including its UN Security Council term (2023–2024) and OSCE Chairpersonship (2024). He holds an Honours Degree and an Executive MBA from the University of Malta.
