Dr Bruno Scholl is the Head of the Iran Division at the European External Action Service of the EU (EEAS) in Brussels dealing with the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA), bilateral EU/Iran relations and Iran-related regional issues. Previously he served as Deputy Head of the Strategic Policy Planning Division in the EEAS covering the Brexit negotiations in the area of the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy and issues related to European Strategic Autonomy / Economic Sovereignty.
He holds a PhD in Political Science from Cologne University and Master Degrees from Bonn University and the College of Europe in Bruges.
