Ambrogio Bongiovanni

Ambrogio Bongiovanni is a professor of Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (Rome). He has conducted research at Jawaharlal Nehru University and the Christian Institute for the Study of Religion and Society in Delhi (India), and has collaborated as an expert with the United Nations. His theological and educational interest in interreligious dialogue and cultural mediation has always been accompanied by practical engagement, including the founding of an educational rehabilitation center for street girls in Gurgaon (India) and the San Francesco Saverio Movement. He is a member of the editorial boards of the journals Dilatato Corde and Ad Gentes, as well as of the National Commission for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (AGESCI, Rome).
