At the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa, the Mediterranean is where history, culture, and artistic expressions converge and intertwine, generating a unique interplay. Even in times of geopolitical frictions, this cultural landscape offers the chance to overcome distances and to shape new blended identities. This session aims at conceptualising the Mediterranean identity today, bringing together intellectuals to imagine a renewed society built around hybridity: no longer split between Europe, Asia and Africa but re-envisioned as a shared and interconnected space.
